A walk in the rain and some beautiful hotels

It was particularly rainy last night, but that didn't stop Matt and I from enjoying a pleasant walk around the wonderful city of Edinburgh.
We had arranged to visit some of Edinburgh's best hotels to speak to them about our photography, and since we always prefer to do business face to face that meant a pleasant evening walk. It would have been more pleasant if yesterday had been a balmy summer evening but that wasn't the case, so we set out, waterproofed from top to toe, to our destinations.
Those damp five hours were punctuated by warmth and luxurious surroundings at the Balmoral, Hotel Missoni, The Scotsman, The Raddisson Blu, The Apex and The Carlton. We enjoyed meeting all the staff and being shown around these stunning locations, having doors opened for us by immaculately dressed doormen and sitting on comfy chairs in opulent foyers, light by impressive chandeliers.
The result of this adventure is that we now have some great opportunities to photograph couples in these beautiful and sometimes historic buildings around Edinburgh, and we're really looking forward offering those opportunities to you all too!
